Magic
Magic, Law, Balance, and Chaos.
MAGIC
The Sarr use many magics believing that if they are capable of using it, it was meant to be used.
Earth magic is the favored magic as the Sarr are more attuned to the earth. Celestial magics are disliked by most Sarr for the specific reason that most Sarr are not attuned to it and, in the case of dealing with fire, well fur burns. You wil find very few sarr who are celestial mages and among those most are lion Sarr and the Ligers.
Necromancy is also legal but is only used if necessary so as not to upset the balance that exists between all things. Sarr dislike coroporeal undead such as zombies, whights, and the like mainly due to the Sarr's heightened sense of smell, but also due to the fact that undead are a waste of flesh.
Other forms of magic that exist in Jahavra are few but varied.
Rune magic is more often than not used by fighters, and rarely Templars and is extremely rare among the Sarr. It is a relatively new form of magic to Jahavra.
Astrology while not a magical art is a form of divination and is mainly used by the Ligers. Other forms of divination are tarot, rune stones, dice, pendulums, and scrying in its various forms. Runes are often made out of stone, bone, gems, or clay. A popular form of Runes in Jahavra are scarab runes, made of carved stone in the shape of scarabs with the runes on the bottom.
Balance Law, and Chaos
The Sarr race as a whole does not believe in fanaticism. If you are a fanatic of any one beleif in thought then that will not enable you to think rationally and be unbiased when it comes to decision making.
Chaos and Law are two sides of the same coin. Bothe are good in small amounts but too much of either is not good for anyone. Here Balance steps in and while not fanatical about Balance most if not all Sarr believe in Balance as the best path to follow.
Necromancy is legal although most Sarr disdain its use and very few if any use it to create undead as to the Sarr this is a waste of meat or good flesh.
