The Dark Elves are perhaps the greatest threat the Shipwrecked had encountered thus far, having nearly all been killed in their initial encounter with these deadly foes. Servants of the Dark God from the War against Talos a millenia ago, these immortals were imprisoned several hundred years ago by the Goblin KIng, but were freed when the Goblin Realm fell into turmoil after his death at the hands of the Yama. The Goblin King was unable, or unwilling, to recapture them before they escape from that Realm onto the Island.

Since that first fateful encounter, the Dark Elves have returned to 'visit' with the Shipwrecked many times, to the discomfort and mistrust of many. What their true purpose is, no one can say for certain, though they have taken an active interest in the affairs of the Guardians and in Misa.

The leader of the Dark Elves is called Bane and delights in games of cat and mouse. His is a malicious and vindictive nature.

His sister, Arhianwaith, could be mistaken for Bane's shadow...at risk of one's life. Silent and deadly, she is almost always by Bane's side, fanatical in her devotion to him.

Bane's cousin, Dreaxx, is the third of the Dark Elves still alive, a powerful Mage and ritual caster who would trade his soul and more for the deeper secrets of Magick.
