So you want to know when the Aralis events are? The 2004 Event Season is the final year of the Aralis Campaign - don't miss it! The grand finale will be held November 5-7, 2004, at which time we must sadly say goodbye to this most wonderful LARP. But look to Aralis 2 starting up in a couple of years, presumably (so rumors claim) taking up 20-30 years after the end of Aralis 1. It is highly recommended to join the Aralis list for the latest news and updates.

The Ninth Gate. Less
than a month has passed since the war with the Spiders, and the confrontation
with the Dark Elves. Spiders
have been virtually unseen in the last two weeks, and the daylight hours
have been very peaceful. The night is still a time of danger, however,
with undead and shade attacks becoming if anything more Elgan is often
seen walking in the stockade these days. He seems whole of mind, but quiet
and withdrawn, and speaks only slowly and with care. As
the Night of Lost Souls approaches, everyone seems to share one
Campsite: Camp Wing From Providence: I would advise taking Taunton Ave. (Route 44) all the way to Plymouth, thence to Route 3 North. 44 is slow, but very direct. From Boston and most other locales: Take 95 or 93 to Route 3 South. From Route 3: (either direction): Take Exit 11. (Route 14) At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left onto Congress Street/Route 14. It will seem to branch after a bit, but stay with the main road which goes right. Follow Route 14 until the road forks (just after the fire station). At the fork, bear right onto Union Street. At the first intersection, turn right onto Keene Street (go right a lot, okay?) The Camp is about a mile up on the left. There is a sports field, a mill, et cetera. Go past the camp. At the stop sign, take a sharp left onto Myrtle Street. Very swiftly, you will come to a driveway on the left by a beige house. If you follow the driveway, you will come to the stockade. Park your car along the side of the stockade, away from the front area and other In-Game areas.
One-Day Events From Providence: Take 195 East to Route 136. Follow directions below. From Boston and most other locales: Take 95 South to 195 East to Route 136. Or Take Route 24 South. From Route 95 South: Take Route 95 South into Rhode Island. Follow to Route 195 East in Providence (Exit 20, left-hand exit). Follow Route 195 E to Exit 2 in Massachusetts/Route 136 (follow Route 136 directions below). From Route 136 South: (can be reached from Exit 2 (MA) on 195): Follow it for about 8 miles. Stick with 136 through any twists and turns. Haffenreffer has a clear sign posted on the left side of the street. Keep an eye out for it once you're in Bristol. Follow Tower Street virtually to its end: again, there is a clear sign for Haffenreffer. Pull into that parking lot and park somewhere. Walk down towards the ocean, and you'll doubtless see us all. From Route 24 South: Follow Route 24 South into Rhode Island. Take Exit 2 toward Bristol / Mount Hope Bridge. Take a slight right onto Boyds Lane. Follow a little ways and then take a slight right onto RI-114 / Mt.Hope Bridge. Continue to follow RI-114 North. After a little way, take a right onto Metacom Ave / Rt 136. Shortly after turning onto Rt 136, you will take a right onto Tower Street (you will also see a sign for Haffenreffer). Follow Tower Street virtually to its end: again, there is a clear sign for Haffenreffer. Pull into that parking lot and park somewhere. Walk down towards the ocean, and you'll doubtless see us all.
