The
Elementals of Solaris and Lunaris on this island, called Sol
and Luna by the Shipwrecked, had fallen to the Corruption so pervasive
on this island. Because of the ties between the two - referring to each other
as Brother and Sister - when Sol fell to Corruption, it pulled his sister,
Luna, with him. But the Shipwrecked, with the aid of Seidaku, the Elemental
of Malal, restored Sol and Luna to purity, and for a time restored the balance
of the Elements on the island.
But with the corruption of the Earth done by Kusaru later, the Elementals began to slide into Corruption again. And an Elemental Tablet was shattered, throwing the Balance off.
Sol and Luna returned to the Shipwrecked, asking for aid in righting the Balance, and providing assistance in this task. The Shipwrecked now seek to recover the Elemental Shards so that the elements on the island may be restored to their proper harmony - and so the Corrupted Elementals will no longer threaten them.
Sol
is an Elemental of the Sun, of the elements of Light, Fire, Earth, and
Life. His is the realm of the physical, and of blinding truths. Forthright,
his healing and aid has proven invaluable to the Shipwrecked.
Luna is an Elemental of the Moon, of the elements of Darkness, Water, Air, and Death. Hers is the realm of the spirit, of that which borders on dream. A mysterious creature with great insight, she has offered what aid she may to the Shipwrecked as well.
The Elemental Lord of Shadow appears often on the Island, usually at the call of the Kina, to aid the Children of Darkness or to place tasks before them. It is often clear that he is not happy to be summoned to such a Corrupted place, but he comes nevertheless - his ways and purpose often a mystery, even to those who walk the Shadows. At the Kina's request, he has fought beside the Shipwrecked as well.
There are other Elementals and Natural Spirits on the Island that
have aided the Shipwrecked as well. Maple and her sisters
added the Shipwrecked in purifying the farm after the Earth had become
corrupted by Kusaru. They were planted on the farm, and now protect it
from Corruption. Maple will upon occasion leave her tree and visit the
Shipwrecked, healing and aiding them as she is able.
